Safety at BoolRider
BoolRider combines student verification, driver documentation, visible profiles, public pickup locations, ride records, ratings, and reporting tools.
Riders and drivers provide a verified university email, age, profile photo, and live facial verification.
Drivers must provide a valid driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance, live facial verification, and vehicle make, model, and color.
Riders can review a driver’s photo, age or class year, completed rides, ratings, vehicle, preferences, optional About Me, and optional Instagram profile. Drivers can review verified rider profiles before accepting.
BoolRider does not publicly display home addresses. Listings use town, neighborhood, campus-hub, or public meeting-point information. The general pickup point is visible before a rider requests a seat.
Each rider receives a unique pickup code available from two hours before until two hours after the scheduled pickup time. The driver enters it to confirm that the correct rider and driver met.
Completed rides contribute to ratings and reliability information. Users may block and report others. BoolRider may temporarily restrict an account while reviewing a serious report.
Hate speech, hate-motivated conduct, stalking, harassment, threats, intimidation, knowingly spreading harmful false claims, and other serious inappropriate conduct may lead to immediate suspension or removal.
Weather, illness, breakdowns, or emergencies may qualify for review as an excused cancellation. Repeated claims may trigger additional review.
Material changes must be agreed to by the rider and driver. A rider may report an unauthorized change and dispute the payment. BoolRider may issue a full or partial adjustment based on the circumstances.
BoolRider is not an emergency-response service. For an immediate emergency, contact 911 or local emergency services.
